DEMOS Data visualization can be used to analyze trends at levels ranging from national to regional, and even at shopping centre levels. This innovative way of looking at data, whether it is sales, vacancy rates, or other variables of interest, provides retailers with valuable information on which to base their decisions. The following video illustrates the application of visualization at the shopping mall level. The animation shows a planogram of a major mall with the colour reflecting the store category and the height of the bar the store sales. The data shows monthly sales over a two year period.
